Lincs Co-op Gives Even More Help!

If you're a Lincolnshire Co-operative member and have a dividend card
you can now help us with our fundraising. Simply visit www.Lincolnshire.coop/communitychampions and select the 'Choose my Community Champion' option. If you follow the steps online and select The Survey of Lincoln to receive your portion of the Community Champions fund then every time you shop at Lincs Co-op we'll receive a donation. If you don't have access to the internet, please call the Co-op's Member Accounts Team on 01522 781135 or sign up at our events. In November 2015 we received a cheque for £7.36, raised by 4 participating Co-op members. Thank you!
Copies of the Boultham and Swallowbeck: Lincoln's South-Western Suburbs booklet went on sale at Lincs Co-op's Boultham Parklands store in August 2014. Our next title Birchwood, Hartsholme & Swanpool has been stocked at their Swanpool and Birchwood stores, Lincoln's Castle, Bail & Close was stocked at Burton Road store, and Monks Road - Lincoln's East End Through Time at the Monks Road store. We hope that sales will encourage the Co-op to stock our other titles across the city.
Between June 8th and September 6th 2014, The Survey of Lincoln was the Lincolnshire Co-operative's 'Community Champion' for the Moorland Avenue store area.  We received a contribution every time a Lincs Co-op dividend card user resident in the Moorlands area made a Co-op purchase.  This produced a total of £550.24 towards our publication costs.
Lincolnshire Co-operative Ltd also invited the Secretary to represent The Survey of Lincoln at the Official Opening of the new Parklands Food Store and Post Office. The new store, on the site of the former Parklands Inn in Boultham Park Road, has replaced the store on Moorlands Avenue. At the Official Opening, Lincs Co-op's President gave us a cheque for £250.
The Survey of Lincoln thanks Lincolnshire Co-operative Society Ltd
for its interest and generous support.
